Why We Give
At Canal Coffee Company™, we're committed to giving back to the communities where we live, work, and play by supporting local organizations that align with our values. That's why we reserve a portion of our sales to support the communities we’re in.
Our donation policy allows us to make thoughtful and strategic contributions that will have the greatest impact on the causes we, and our community, care about the most.
What To Expect
Donation Requests
Organizations must submit a formal request by completing the form on this page. We encourage organizations to submit their requests at least six weeks in advance of the event or fundraiser.
Eligibility
We consider requests for donations from organizations that benefit our local community, particularly those focused on education, healthcare, child welfare, and animal welfare. We prioritize organizations located less than 10 miles away from each of our stands.
Review and Approval
All donation requests are reviewed by our management and marketing team to ensure they align with our values and eligibility criteria. We prioritize organizations that have a track record of making a positive impact in the community. We will notify organizations of our decision within two weeks of receiving the request.
Types of Donations
We offer in-kind donations of our coffee and food products for events, fundraisers, or “just becauses.” We also provide gift cards, coupons, or monetary donations to support local organizations and their initiatives. All donations should strive to bring the community together around food and drink, help raise awareness or funds for a cause, or help to honor those who serve our community.
Acknowledgment and Follow-up
We appreciate receiving acknowledgment and recognition for our donations. Organizations that receive our donations are required to acknowledge our support in their event or fundraiser materials. We love hearing how the event or fundraiser went! Be sure to follow up with us so we can hear all about it.
