At Canal Coffee Co., we believe a great cup of coffee does more than just start your morning — it brings people together, fuels conversations, and helps build stronger communities. At the center of those communities are the dedicated individuals who work tirelessly every day to keep others safe.
As Canal Coffee Co. celebrated the grand opening of our second Gastonia location on Hoffman Road, we were proud to honor the local first responders and service members who make such a meaningful impact throughout the community.
Free Drinks for Local First Responders
To celebrate our newest Gastonia location, Canal Coffee Co. hosted Community Heroes events at our new Hoffman Road shop dedicated to thanking local first responders for their service and commitment.
On Thursday, June 4 and Wednesday, June 11, active first responders were invited to stop by and enjoy a free small drink of their choice. Whether it was a classic espresso drink, an iced coffee, or one of our signature specialty beverages, it was an honor for our team to serve the individuals who serve our community every day.
Our baristas loved having the opportunity to personally thank Gastonia’s firefighters, police officers, EMS personnel, and military members while welcoming them into our newest location.
More Grand Opening Celebrations Ahead
The Community Heroes events were just one part of the excitement surrounding the opening of Canal Coffee Co.’s second Gastonia location. As we continue celebrating this milestone, we look forward to hosting more events, specials, and opportunities to connect with the Gastonia community.
We’re incredibly grateful for the support and warm welcome we’ve already received and cannot wait to continue building relationships within the community we’re proud to serve.
Our Year-Round Commitment to Local Heroes
While our grand opening celebrations may eventually come to an end, our appreciation for first responders and military members remains part of who we are year-round.
Canal Coffee Co. proudly offers a daily 10% discount for all active and retired firefighters, police officers, EMS personnel, and military members at every Canal Coffee Co. location. This ongoing discount is one small way we can continue saying thank you for the sacrifices and dedication these individuals show every day.
Whether stopping by during a shift or visiting with family and friends, we’re always honored to serve those who serve our communities.
