Canal Coffee Co. is proud to partner with Mission Lexington for a Serve Together Food Pantry Drive supporting local families and individuals in the Lexington community.
The food drive officially kicked off during Canal Coffee Co.’s Better Together Community Day on August 29, and the giving doesn’t stop there. A Mission Lexington Red Barrel will remain at our Lexington location, giving customers an easy way to donate much-needed breakfast items throughout the coming weeks.
Help Stock Mission Lexington’s Food Pantry
Mission Lexington works year-round to support individuals and families throughout the community, and its food pantry is currently in particular need of breakfast items.
Customers are encouraged to bring any of the following items to the Canal Coffee Co. Lexington location:
- Cereal boxes
- Oatmeal
- Grits
- Breakfast bars
- Pop-Tarts
Donations can be placed directly in the Mission Lexington Red Barrel located at the store.
Whether you’re making a special trip to donate or simply bringing an item along on your next coffee run, every contribution is an opportunity to support neighbors right here in Lexington.
Serving Lexington, Together
The food pantry drive is part of Canal Coffee Co.’s Better Together initiative, created to deepen our connection with the communities we serve through local partnerships, events, and opportunities to give back.
Our Better Together Community Day brought the Lexington community together to celebrate everything that makes the area special, and partnering with Mission Lexington provided an opportunity to turn that celebration into continued community support.
By keeping the Red Barrel at our Lexington location beyond Community Day, we hope to make giving back simple and accessible for our customers while helping Mission Lexington stock its pantry with some of its most-needed items.
