Canal Coffee Co. is excited to officially open our second Gastonia location on June 6 at:
1957 Hoffman Road, Gastonia, NC
Conveniently located near Publix on Hoffman Road.
After the incredible support from the Gastonia community at our South New Hope Road location, we knew we wanted to serve even more people across the area with faster access, shorter lines, and the same Canal experience you know and love.
Why We’re Expanding in Gastonia
Gastonia has quickly become one of Canal Coffee Co.’s most supportive communities. According to co-owner Elliott Davies, the New Hope Road location has exceeded expectations since opening.
“We really love the Gastonia area and the market, and we wanted to be able to service more people in the area,” Davies said. “We thought the Hoffman location would allow us to do that.”
The new Hoffman Road drive-thru coffee shop will help us better serve customers on the east side of Gastonia while continuing to provide quick, high-quality drinks and friendly service.

“I think we’re well entrenched in our communities and try to be part of our communities through churches, schools, chambers of commerce, however we can do that,” Davies said.
We’re grateful every time someone chooses to stop by our drive-thru, and we work hard to make every visit fast, welcoming, and memorable.
The Story Behind Canal Coffee Co.
Canal Coffee Co. was inspired by canals around the world — especially in Europe — where waterways historically connected people, goods, and communities.
“We really liked that idea and the concept of bringing people in and different kinds of goods,” Davies said.
Today, Canal Coffee Co. has locations across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida, with Gastonia continuing to play a major role in our growth story.
